How are you able to change your password on your D-Link?

I cant figure it outHow are you able to change your password on your D-Link?open your web browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar and press enter (note: if this is not your Default Gateway IP addressyou will need to open the Command Prompt and type 'ipconfig /all' and hit enter. the Default Gateway will be the IP address of the router).

you will be prompted to enter an user name and password, the user name should either be 'admin' or 'user' and leave the password field blank.

You should now be able to view your wireless settings by clicking 'WAN' on the left hand navigation menu and from these settings you will have the option to make changes to your password.

Hope this helps! How are you able to change your password on your D-Link?Log into the router interface page! Read your router manual. How are you able to change your password on your D-Link?You can access the web user interface of your DLink router by typing in 192.168.1.1 on your browser. If the password to your browser still uses the default user name and passwords, find them from this site depending on the model:

If none of the user name and passwords work then it must have been set previously. Simply reset it by poking a fine pen or pencil at the hole at the back of the router while it is on for about 15 seconds (depending on the brand and model. LinkSys requires 30 secs).

Note that this will also reset your wireless settings so you need to reconfigure them too.
