Right now it is the far left focus point but if I wanted to make it the right one or the left one or top or even the center three how do i?How do you change your focus point(s) on a Nikon D80?Right below the directional buttons there's a sliding switch. Slide it up (if it isn't already) to unlock the focus point. Then use the arrows to pick one you like. If you don't change the focus point too often, slide the switch back down to lock it from accidental change or automatic selection in certain modes.
I personally have it locked solid to the center on mine. If I have to focus elsewhere, I'd just move the camera, half-press the shutter button and then re-compose for the shot. Makes it much easier than having to track which point is active and changing it in the middle of the process.
