In one lesson the brother sat us all down and gave us a facts of life lesson about cleanliness. He knew we were going out in the real world and that we should know a few basic things beyond the normal class room subjects like what fork to use, manners and such.

The topic of bed sheets was brought up by him. He told all of us to change our sheets at least once a week.

If you think about it makes sense. You are constantly sheddind dead skin cells. Fact: What do you think most of the dust is in your house? It doesn't just spontaneosly creat itself. It is your dead skin cells that turn in to dust. Fact: How else is it that dogs can track you if not for all the dead skin cells that you constantly shed.

I don't know about you, but I don't want to be sleeping in weeks of dead skin cells.

Change your bed sheets once a week. And before you put new sheets on, every once in a while take some febreeze and spray it over your mattress and pillows. Live smart, not sick. How often should you change your sheets?I change all the bedding every Monday morning (that's my laundry day). Pillow cases more often if they've been goobered on. Every other week, I change the mattress cover too and every month I flip the mattress. How often should you change your sheets?Once a week is reasonable (%26amp; healthy). How often should you change your sheets?i change mine once a week, not because i am a clean freak, because i actually am, but because the body soil and things that accumulate, BUT i have changed them once every two weeks on occaision because i dont have a washer/dryer BUT i at least change my pillow casesHow often should you change your sheets? At least once a month. More often in the summer. Human bodies sweat about a pint a night. How often should you change your sheets?every week and yes I have seen it and they say to you not to clean your house for a couple of weeks before they comeHow often should you change your sheets?well i'm not a lovely Brit, but i have seen the show.. as to what they say i can't tell you . I can offer a opinion based on common sense and basic science knowledge. We shed skin daily ,yes? I assume you shower daily but alas still are active to some degree after said shower, rubbing those dead skins cells about, no? Then unless you are a%26quot; clean freak %26quot;as you say, taking at least two respective showers a day , after moderate activity, in high summer, you then change into your pajamas and off to bed with you. Taking all those dead skins cells with you and dried sweat and who knows what you may have picked up through the day..into your bed and onto your sheets. I would say if you aren't that active and more inclined to couching it, then what you think of as clean freak changed once weekly is moderately clean, and those who are active and change them monthly are wanky...then we need a new category for those who change them 1x every 2months.. Based on your level of personal hygiene added with physical activity per day..twice weekly is not clean freakish but merely caring of oneself and the facts that the dead cells we shed attract bed mites..who eat our dander..common sense.. bed sores have occur under far less repugnant condtions..and are quite gross and a bit on the painful side. armed with this info you may research further..you decide. give a man a fish , he eats for the day.. teach hiim to fish ....etc,good luck. i believe the show has a website..you could email them and ask them ..i think they might concur or say 3x a week is not too often ,given the factors present. .. to my knowledge there is no set time that we shed ..seems to me we would even shed at night..you decide..sweet dreams. How often should you change your sheets? We change our's weekly and would change them twice weekly if we had more time. How often should you change your sheets?I change ours weekly and twice a week if it's really hot weatherHow often should you change your sheets?I tend to change my pillow case once a week. But the rest only once a month or every three weeks, or two.... depends really. Whenever they start to honk or feel grimey! A trick you could do is use a sheet under your duvet... i.e. the sheet touches your body and then you only have to wash that not the whole duvet cover.

Kim and Aggie suggest you wash once a week at 60 degrees c. They also say to freshen the mattress by sprinkling bicarbonate of soda on it, leave for a couple of hours and them vacuum it off.How often should you change your sheets?Once a week, and I'm a guy.How often should you change your sheets?I clean my sheets every 4 mounths wait.... maybe not even that ewwww i didn't ever think about it!How often should you change your sheets?sorry but i must be one of the *clean freaks* mine are done EVERY week without failHow often should you change your sheets?i change mine once a week, usually on saturdays when i do

Every other week is OK if you have air-conditioning and don't sweat much at night, but you should change them a lot more often (even daily if necessary) if your bedroom is hot, you sweat a lot, or if certain conjugal activities have been occurring on your sheets. It is also good to spray down the mattress and pillows with a disinfectant spray when you change the sheets to keep them more sanitary and smelling fresh. How often should you change your sheets?two weekHow often should you change your sheets? As long as you keep your body clean with a bath or shower and keep the bed made(or at least the blankets pulled up over the sheets) when it's not in use, I don't think it's necessary to change sheets more than every other week. How often should you change your sheets?Once a week. How often should you change your sheets?I agree with once a weekHow often should you change your sheets?Every week.
