In the weeks immediately before that, it was once each night. In the first few weeks after birth it was several time each night.
During the day at that age they had settled down to about 10 times during the day. I found 3 months was the turning point, every three hours during the day and about 3 times at night, which is manageable.

When they go through growth spurts, they nurse much more (that's why I said 1-3). Sometimes he would sleep through a feeding, which is totally fine (in fact, enjoy it).
Growth spurts can fool women into thinking that they are not getting enough because they nurse ALL the time all of a sudden, but them nursing is actually telling your body to make more milk for them at this stage, and in a few days it levels out. So, don't fall into that trap!Mine gave up his NIGHT time feedings LAST, so I wasn't sleeping more than 3-4 hours until he was about 10-11 months old.

She never really went longer than 2-2 1/2 hours during the day until weaning (14 months) but did begin sleeping 7-8 hours at night at 7 months.How many times a day and night does/did your 2 month old eat (breastfeed)?For my daughter (9 weeks today) it varies...I still feed on demand so I don't have her on any set schedule. There are days when she will eat at 6 times and others when she eats up to 10...it all depends....yesterday she ate 5 times and slept from 10:30pm to 8 this morning...she also had her shots yesterday so I know that played a part. I would say typically she eats 6-8 times in a 24 hours period.
