OIL on my face throughout the day. how do i minimize?

alright. so i usually just wear a powder foundation for my day of school. but walking to classes with hott classrooms usually makes me look GROSS by the end of the day. any tips on how i can change that?OIL on my face throughout the day. how do i minimize?i'm gonna agree with everyone who said blotting paper but if you don't have any on you, a tissue will work too for a quick fix.

i have oily skin too and a primer will help heeeeaps. i use inglot's under makeup base and it goes on super silky, mattifies your face, makes your skin feel sooo soft, makes your foundation glide on easier and best of all it absorbs any excess oils throughout the day. i dont get anywhere near as shiny as i used to anymore, and depending how much i put on i either stay matte as my foundation or end up with a healthy looking dewy glow, but no scary oil slick.and a powder on top of that will help too.

hope that helps you!OIL on my face throughout the day. how do i minimize?blotting paper will workOIL on my face throughout the day. how do i minimize?Every morning and night, scrub your face with Dove bar soap and a face scrubby [sold at Bath and Body Works].

Go for a lightweight OIL-FREE moisturizer and sunscreen before you apply any makeup. Then use a primer (try MAC or Rimmel Fix and Perfect), which will reduce the oilies and also allow for better foundation application. THEN apply your powder foundation. After that, you can also use loose powder (in the same color) and lightly dust it all over your foundation with a paddle/kabuki/bronzer brush to really set it.

Throughout the day, you should also bring a pressed powder (if your foundation isn't already pressed) and oil blotting sheets for touch ups through the day.OIL on my face throughout the day. how do i minimize?buy blotting paper. They are these little sheets that you press on your face that won't remove the makeup, but will absorb the oils.

They sell them at sephora, and Clean and Clear (sold in drugstores) makes them too.
