Writing on peoples wall on Facebook?

So is there a way to change it so when I write on peoples wall it doesn't show up on other peoples News Feed? Like I don't mind if other people see it when they visit the persons profile, I just don't want it showing up in peoples News Feed. You don't have any control over that. If you want to send a private message then send a message to that person rather than posting on their wall.
