Question on changing cartilage jewelry?

Okay, I've had my cartilage (helix) pierced for 3 months now, and it's almost healed. It's been a little sore lately because I accidently hit it and slept on it. But anyways, right now I have a CBR in and I was wondering if I could switch to a normal earring stud? Is it safe right now? Or should I wait until nothing hurts?Question on changing cartilage jewelry?You need to wait until it is completely healed - it's typically around 4-6 months. Don't change it right yet.
