Then use the headings to create your avatar. Click save changes when you are done. Then go to http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit and click Use My Yahoo Avatar. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Preview, then at the next screen click Save.
If you want a photo avatar, go to http://pulse.yahoo.com/ and click Profile on the left side. Then mouse over the photo and click Add/Change image. Then click Upload a photo. Then click Browse and choose a picture. Then go to http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit and click Use My Profile Image.
